The Nutcracker Chicago reviews
Nutracker at Westchester County Center
Years ago, I took my little girl to the city to see the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center every year; we had a long tradition of going together. This year, I was thrilled to take my all-grown-up daughter and my 3 year old granddaughter to the Nutcracker at Westchester County Center.
It exceeded our expectations and she was enchanted with the pretty dancers, the lights, the music, and especially all of the ballet dancing! It was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it! Very kid friendly while at the same time, gorgeous costumes and scenery, beautiful music, and wonderful dancing! Thanks for continuing our tradition!
Bad company
The show was good but there was 2 little girls sitting behind us that were terrible! They talked through the whole show. One kept sneezing on the back of my head and the other kept kicking the back of my chair and hit me in the back of the head a few times! Then the snacks after intermission.....there was bag crinkling and shaking! I was so distracted i couldnt focus on the show at all! So with that all said....i feel there should be a age requirement for the show! I spent a lot of money for a show that i didnt even get to enjoy!
Great show, venue a bit lacking
The show itself was dynamite! The venue lacked a way for people to purchase drinks. They had a few soda machines in the hockey arena (game going on at the time) but the lines were long and machines did not accept cards. Found one in the basement that did accept cards but wouldn't allow any to go through. And those with cash were unable to purchase for some reason. Another machine nearby was unplugged. We hit up the drinking fountain but if the concern over not offering refreshments is COVID related, I would.imagine a drinking fountain to be a petri dish of germs! Kids everywhere were thirsty, which in turn made us adults quite thirsty too...
